On Parallel Frontiers

Image
Proud to roll out my newest story: Parallel Frontiers! Please visit the website of the same name. When you do visit; please bear in mind the lighthouse picture corresponds to the world of ADAVARA, while the picture featuring many boats corresponds to the world of BAZULA. (No. Sci-fi writers do not have limits!) While this seems like a lot of work, removing the mental leash and allowing the imagination limitless creativity is its own reward! So, consider this an invitation to join new characters on new adventures to new parallel worlds! Thank you. Laurie Eberle

Two Shorter Stories

BLACK MARKET WEAPONS Following Falcon's old route, Daniel, Chooch, and Jin head to To Sedaro to join forces with Pete Andrews. What happens when they confront black market weapons dealers? (Story to be posted.) CONFLICT Daniel and Eddie try to find out how widespread the sale of ballisticas  are and can they stop this madness?  And will this exploration bring any harm to them?

The Worst Producer I Know

Me. I'm the worst producer I know. I can handle story and character development. I love script writing. We've obviously written our scripts for this 2-part series (Adavara). We've even selected some VFX and SFX for the videos. I have no problem directing. At this point, the whole process comes to a screeching halt. When it comes to sets, locations, and casting, I hit a brick wall. (OW!) Well, it looks like it's time for another production meeting to help reach a creative solution,

Adavara!

We should inform you that, at this time, mostly due to its massive size and cost, Trackers is not currently in production. We are pleased to announce, however, that another of my four projects, called "Adavara" is in production. As I mentioned in my last blog, I have four different projects that are linked as a series. The projects are related to one another by Bermuda Triangle "phenomena." Adavara, however, in spite of its small size, carries a powerful message everyone needs to see, hear, and heed. Please see our new website, Adavara.Weebly.com to learn more.

Direction

Believe it or not, we have been working on one of the four projects I've mentioned in earlier blogs. It will be brief (two videos) to guage audience interest. Since all four projects are connected via subject matter, following the resolution of rights issues, please stay tuned for some very interesting information and update on this project! You may also keep up with this development at trackers.weebly.com.

Important Notice

Anyone experiencing problems with the casting information page should leave me a message via the contact page on my website, Trackers.Weebly.com. Please note that if you answer all the questions on the form, I should receive the information with no problem. For the first webisode, we will need five main characters and one supporting character. Auditions are likely to be conducted via Skype. Please stay tuned for further developments on casting.

The Main Idea

One of the mistakes I believe I've made in designing this web series was to attempt to convert my original episodic series into a web series. Really? We'd be doing this forever! The first thing I did was to remove the poll from the web site. Not many people participated in it and, those who did, voted for us to put on the entire series. As I said before, that amounts to 110 episodes! So, I had to make some hard, yet realistic decisions. I figured, why not take the most outstanding displacements, break these down into manageable plots, and produce these videos? I know this means dismissing the first main plot. Even though it featured an evil mutant, it did not have anything to do with the mission of the team, which is: search and rescue beyond the Bermuda Triangle. This decision combines the best of both worlds: displacements and surrounding plots. It also cuts through early project development which would have slowed the progress of the series.
